Phaeochromocytoma - Adrenalectomy

 

In this episode we will discuss the case of a 50 year old man, who has been newly diagnosed with high blood pressure. 

At first, a couple of tests are performed to find out what caused the rise in blood pressure:

 

  •  Ultrasound
  •  Cardiac Ultrasouind
  •  Hormone Assay

 

During the tests a tumour of the right suprarenal gland is found, which leads to the diagnoss "Phaeochromocytoma".
