Pituitary Adenoma: Transnasal Tumor Removal

Case File:
A 59-year-old patient notices a loss of visual acuity in the left eye. Therefore, he visits the ophthalmic clinic. Tests there show a bitemporal hemianopsia and a central scotoma. Due to this, a MRI of the neurocranium is made. The MRI shows a mass in the area of the sella turcica.
