Severe Aortic Stenosis: Aortic Valve Replacement

A 70-year old female patient visits her physician because she seems to sugger from lightheadedness and a rapid heartbeat. He sets up several tests with different physicians. A neurologist she is sent to cannot find any abnormalities. However, when an ultrasound is performed the physician detects an aortic stenosis, which needs to be treated surgically.
